Linda's Story
Employment:
1975-1980: Taught Jr High Phys Ed/Health & English in Atco for 5 yrs. Supplemented income by modeling brand name clothing. 1980 to 2011: Pharmaceutical Sales Management. Loved my career as it afforded me the opportunity to travel the entire North American continent, South America and the Caribbean. Due to a corporate downsizing in Jan 2011, I found myself seeking a new career path. Decided to go to school again earning certifications/licenses as a Medical Aesthetician, Medical Laser Safety Officer & Medical Laser Technician. Since 2011, I am self employed & own a medical sales distributorship specializing in Wound Repair, Foot/Ankle and Hand/Wrist surgical implants..
Lifestyle:
I am divorced/single; however, I am in an exclusive relationship with my best friend, Lane. Childless by choice. I moved from Riverside/Delran to live in: Medford; Bridgeton (ughhhh); Marlton; Merchantville; Fargo, ND; Phoenix, AZ; Novato, CA (27 miles north of San Francisco); Boise, ID, Shenandoah, TX (30 miles north of Houston); now back in Boise (2017).
As a general rule, my home always has a pet or two. Lexi [American Lab] & Galoot [English Lab] are an endless source of entertainment.
When not working, I enjoy hiking, cruiser biking, swimming, working out at the gym and dancing. Wine tasting is a favorite relaxation escape, either solo or with friends. Love to travel. I'm gra...Expand for more
dually making my way around the world. I don't "do tourist" ... prefer to travel spontaneously and explore things that catch my eye/imagination. For many years, I rode a Harley. However, I have had lower back fusion surgery and both hips have been resurfaced (thanks to old athletic injuries). Consequently, I am no longer "allowed" to ride my Harley or do 'extreme sports'. LOL When at home, I like to catch up on pleasure reading, watch movies/sports, cook/bake, play outdoors and take leisurely cat naps.
School:
Two teachers and one administrator had a tremendous impact on me ... Veronica Jones in the physical education department. Her poise, grace and intelligence superseded her natural athletic talent. She was not the 'typical' physical education instructor. Fayetta Wells, Spanish instructor. She challenged me to achieve new levels of learning that I was terrified to explore. Too, she enjoyed watching Dean VanNess and me battle it out for straight A's in her class. Then, there's the one and only, Charles Pratt, Guidance Counselor. He did more to help me develop my self esteem than any individual I've met in my lifetime.
College:
Trenton State College 71-74 BS degree in Health Sciences (Honors) with a Minor/English. Played Varsity Volleyball and Varsity LaCrosse. Member of Delta Psi Kappa (Honors Fraternity)
